FOR TELEPHONE MEDIATIONS: these are offered for claims with values below £50,000, and are charged at the rates set out by the Civil Mediation Council's Fixed Fee Mediation Scheme (https://civilmediation.org/fixed-fee-scheme/)

POINTS TO NOTE:

*the value of a claim is typically calculated by adding together a) the value of the money claim, b) the value of any counterclaim, and c) the value of any interest and costs.

All fees typically include:

• Up to five hours preparation. Any additional preparation time may incur additional fees (such fees to be agreed with the parties prior to carrying out any preparation)

• Reasonable travel. Any extensive travel may incur additional travel/accommodation fees (such fees to be agreed with the parties in advance)

• Pre-mediation telephone contact with the parties

• Post mediation telephone contact, in the event of a settlement not being reached (follow up)
